Free Dog Trainers Canine Good Citizen Event

Join us at Avid Coffee for a dog-friendly event hosted in partnership with Free Dog Trainers, a local non-profit organization dedicated to providing support from skilled dog professionals to everyone for free.

Bring your furry friend and register to take the American Kennel Club’s (AKC) Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test. While you’re there, learn more about Free Dog Trainers and connect with your community of fellow lovers of dogs & coffee.

The AKC’s CGC test consists of foundational skills, including basic cues like sit, down, stay and come, walking on a loose leash, accepting a friendly stranger, passing people and other dogs without causing a scene and having the owner step out of sight for 3 minutes.
